Pamela (Xinyu) Chen, also known as Alien Pam in China, is a freelance illustrator, independent artist and designer, currently based in China. She studied illustration in the U.S. and has received awards both internationally and in China. She has participated in various art fairs, held solo exhibitions, and contributed to several group shows. She also collaborates with clients on a variety of projects across different countries.

Her digital illustrations use vibrant flat colors to create dreamlike worlds blending nostalgic touches with future fantasy. Pamela’s art exists between reality and dream. Inspired by music, fashion, and cinematic moments, she tells visual stories featuring surreal female figures drifting between emotion and imagination.

She is open to all possibilities for growth as an artist. Her current interests include fashion and editorial illustration, packaging, motion graphics, infographics, commercial projects, picture books and more, she is always seeking new ways to turn feeling into form.
